So what are the restrictions which were removed and eased in the recent announcement for Ramadan 2026 and Shawwal 2026 after Eid?

There were certain Umrah SOPs which the pilgrims had to follow:

1. No more Covid PCR Test and social distancing of-course.
2. No more quarantine when you reach Saudi Arabia, no matter whatever vaccine you have taken. Quarantine was again introduced in January 2022.
3. No more age limit anymore restrictions.
4. You can NOW enter Haram without the approval from the App but you must present your health vaccination proof in the App.
5. Please note, only the Haji wearing Ahram will be able to perform Tawaf in the Mataf area.
6. One can’t still kiss (give bosa) to Hajar Asfad (black stone).

Now that these restrictions have been uplifted, we at Flight Connection Travel & Tours advise you to perform your Umrah! Previously, we advised to delay traveling and wait for better Umrah SOPs and traveling conditions. Which travel agent would recommend such a thing? Its true that the traveling conditions were not just difficult but were very confusing!!!
